My Thoughts on Radio Frequency

My Thoughts on Radio Frequency

My thoughts on Radio Frequency

I am trying a new angle for my business and my passion for skin care. I am going to provide real information and insights into helping as many people as I can on their skin care journey.  Please keep in mind that this will be general information because everybody is different and skin responds differently.  I may jump around from one topic to another, if you want to know something specific, just ask.

I am going to start with something that I was witness to recently. I want to talk about radio frequency. Now the primary benefits of RF therapy are tightening of the skin and getting rid of wrinkles. However, RF therapy may also help fight sun damage.  This being said, I have heard people in the medical field bragging about it because they are the only ones who can legally perform this, at least in California. Estheticians are not allowed to perform this treatment. Here's what I found frustrating, they completely disregard skin care! WTH?! Even if someone were to get RF treatments, they are not solving the cause of the problem nor are they treating the problem consistently.

I am not saying whether some should do RF treatments or not, that's not my place. All I am saying is that there is more to having beautiful skin that they are leading on and it's simply because they are not skin care specialist and they don't know. You don't know, what you don't know.

Can someone achieve healthy glowing skin using products alone? I'd say YES! But, there is a but...lol This person is committed to using only high-quality skin care products and is committed to their twice daily skin care regimen.

I am going to put it out there, I am against injections, fillers and all that junk. I believe in skin care products, not just any products. Definitely not over the counter products. I believe in professional grade skin care products, I have my own professional grade vegan skin care line, which I hope you try 😊 Click here

I want to help people achieve their skin goals, that's my main purpose. I don't buy into the bullshit and I don't want you guys to either. You don't need to have a bunch of tools at home to do this, that and the other. All you need is high-quality skin care products, your hands and nice soft clothes for your face (I love baby muslin washclothes  from amazon) and that's it, honestly. You have companies and influencers selling you on all these gadgets and they are  not necessary, and some can cause harm to the skin.

I have invested so much time and money into my skin care education and yes, I am a Licensed Esthetician, so if you have questions, just ask. I can literally ramble all day about skin care....lol

So let me rewind back to radio frequency, can it be beneficial? Sure, when it's performed by trained professionals. Would it be best to have a Licensed Esthetician in the mix, so that you can have a skin care regimen and products planned and ready? Yes, most definitely.  Is it worth trying to treat your skin concerns with a Licensed Esthetician first? I would say yes. And no, all Estheticians are not the same. We have our specialties and some of use invest into continuing our education and some don't.

If people would stop thinking that there's a simple quick fix, that would be great. There is no quick fix, period. Everything is a process and things take time. One treatment or one facial is not going to set you up for the rest of your life. I've had clients who thought that...smh 🤦‍♀️ I have come to understand that the more information I provide to my clients, the better off they are.  When they understand the "why", they are more likely to perform the "what". At least that's what I have come to realize.

So, I am going to put my thoughts and knowledge here for everyone to read and take part.  I hope that some of you find this helpful. I will try not to ramble, but I can't make any promises...lol

Skin care is a journey and I am here to help guide you💗
